 Budget Assumptions  

·      Maintain an active organization without any new major projects funded within the operating budget. (Projects may be initiated that are funded by grants or other outside funding) (Projects may be initiated that are funded by grants or other outside funding)

·      The current Executive Director will continue to work under the current contract arrangements.

·      The City of Point Pleasant will continue to provide facilities to house the organization at no cost.

·      The organizations that have outstanding commitments to MSPP will honor those commitments.

·      New support will be provided by major businesses in the area that haven’t provided pledges in the past year.

·      New “fund-raising” projects can be initiated that will produce projected revenue.

·      Main Street West Virginia will continue to certify MSPP and provide support from the State and National level.

·      Volunteer support can be encouraged and increase

  • A goal to add 10 adult volunteers that will commit to provide 50 hours each.

  •  High School students can be persuaded to take on community projects under MSPP guidance.

·      The Board of Directors will be infused with new talent eager to take on projects and chair committees.

·      The current Board Members will take a more active roll in the organization over and above attending Board meetings.
